Overview

APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER TO PROVIDE HEALTH AND SAFETY IN FORESTRY ENVIRONMENT TRAINING LEVEL 01 FOR EKZNW. The scope targets health and safety training in forestry, Level 01, for EKZNW, with regionally delivered courses (Coast, Ukhahlamba, Zululand). Suitable bidders are health-and-safety training providers with forestry-sector experience, able to deliver all-inclusive courses and meet public-procurement compliance.

Requirements

• Tax compliance: SARS PIN/TCS; if no TCS PIN, provide CSD number; separate TCS for consortia/subcontractors.
• Central Suppliers Database (CSD) registration by closing; disqualifies if not registered.
• CSD verification and documentation to claim BBEE points (CSD report, BBBEE status or sworn affidavit for EMEs/QSEs).
• Preferential procurement: 80/20 system with specific goals; provide proof (CSD report, disability letter, regional address) to claim points.
• Official forms: complete SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1; sign authority to bind (contract form SBD7 if awarded).
• Compliance: no state-employed individuals in key roles; declare relationships and interests as per SBD 4.
• Submission format: PDFs only; single emailed file to procurement@kznwildlife.com; RFQ number must appear in subject.
• Mandatory briefing sessions: attendance logged (Note 8).
• Delivery costs included in quoted price; all costs covered (materials, travel, accommodation).

• Training scope and venues: Health and Safety Training Level 01 for three regions (Coast, Ukhahlamba, Zululand); pricing terms include all course-related costs (materials, travel, accommodations) and VAT. (see BD 3.3)
