Overview

SAFCOL seeks to appoint a service provider to hire a construction grader to work around Far-North Limpopo SAFCOL Plantations as and when required (wet rate). The scope covers hiring a motor grader (TLB) to Woodbush and Entabeni plantations with delivery to site and on-site operation as needed (wet rate, including GET, operator and fuel). The contract includes establishment/de-establishment costs and requires proof of ownership of the grader.

Requirements

• Fully complete the RFQ on company letterhead; bid responses emailed to the specified address.
• Latest Tax Clearance and SARS compliance.
• BBBEE verification from SANAS-accredited agency or sworn affidavit for EME/QSE.
• CSD registration (or MA number) and register within 7 working days of award if not already.
• IDs of company directors.
• Returnable: SBD forms signed and included.
• Proof of ownership of the grader (ownership in the company’s name; lease not acceptable).
• If bidding as a Joint Venture/Consortium, consolidated BEE certificate.
• Supplier Code of Conduct acknowledgement.
• Proof of insurance and compliance with road safety/OHS laws; daily log sheets for drivers/operators; vehicles/machinery must be roadworthy.

• Documents to submit: fully completed RFQ; official quotation on letterhead; latest tax clearance; BBBEE; CSD/MAAA number; director IDs; Supplier Code of Conduct; SBD forms.
• Pre-qualifications: provide CSD status, tax clearance, BBBEE verification or sworn affidavit, and proof of grader ownership (Phase 2 mandatory).
