Overview

SAFCOL seeks a service provider to hire out a Grader with Operator and a Vibrator Smooth Roller for Msunduzi Plantation, including supervision, site establishment, and delivery. Suitable bidders are earthmoving/equipment-hire contractors with heavy machinery, operator capability, and compliance with SA public-procurement rules (B-BBEE, tax, locality requirements).

Requirements

• Completes the RFQ on company letterhead and submits via email to RFQCentralNSP@safcol.co.za (RFQ/MSU/005/2026); use RFQ number in the subject.
• B-BBEE: SANAS-accredited verification or EME/QSE sworn affidavit (joint ventures require consolidated BEE evidence).
• Tax: latest SARS Tax Clearance and proof of tax compliance.
• Registrar: CSD registration (or MA AA number); if not registered, must register within 7 working days of award.
• Locality: proof of locality in uMgungundlovovu District Municipality (letter from municipality stamped, dated, signed, naming company/directors).
• Documentation: ID copies of company directors; Supplier Code of Conduct; SBD forms signed.
• Returnable documents: fully completed RFQ, official quotation on letterhead, tax clearance, BBBEE certificate/affidavit, CSD/MAAA number, ID copies, Supplier Code of Conduct.
• Price: firm prices inclusive of VAT.
• Evaluation: 80/20 price vs. specific goals; points for 51% Black Owned, 30% Black Women Owned, 51% Disabled, 51% Youth ownership; proof documents required as per the table in the RFQ.
