Overview

Appointment of a service provider to provide hiring of plant equipment to SAFCOL Tweefontein Plantation. SAFCOL invites quotes (RFQ/TWE/031/2026) from plant-hire providers to supply hire of a TLB with operator and a 10m3 tipper truck with operator, plus establishment/de-establishment services at Tweefontein Plantation.

Requirements

• Complete the RFQ and submit on company letterhead; include pricing.
• Provide B-BBEE verification (SANAS-certified) or an EME/QSE sworn affidavit; consolidate for JV if applicable.
• Submit tax clearance (SARS PIN) and CSD registration (or MAAN number); register on CSD within 7 days of award if not already.
• Include SBD forms, ID copies of company directors, and Supplier Code of Conduct.
• Prices must be firm and VAT-inclusive; responses must not be delivered before official PO/Promissory Note.
• Returnable documents: D/B directors’ IDs, BBBEE certificate, CSD/MAAN, etc.
• Evaluation: Phase 1 Administrative Compliance; Phase 2 Price (80) and Specific Goals (20).
• Specific goals: 51% Black Ownership, 30% Black Women Ownership, 51% Owned by People with Disabilities, and 51% Black Youth Owned (points apportioned).

• Documents to submit (in addition to the RFQ): fully completed RFQ, official quotation on letterhead, latest Tax Clearance, BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, CSD/MAAN, ID copies of directors, Supplier Code of Conduct.
