APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER TO PROVIDE OCCUPATIONAL MEDICAL SERVICES TO THE CITY OF MBOMBELA FOR CITY OF MBOMBELA

Overview

Procurement of an occupational medical services provider to support the City of Mbombela’s Occupational Health Clinic under a 36-month contract (maximum expenditure of about R300,000), including on-site and mobile occupational medical evaluations; bidders must be qualified Occupational Medical Practitioners with relevant government/municipal experience.

Requirements

• Appointment of an Occupational Medical Practitioner (OMP) with MBChB, postgraduate in Occupational Medicine, and HPCSA registration; CV, minimum 2 years’ surveillance/exam experience; municipal/government experience advantageous.
• Consultation facility located within Mbombela Central (Nelspruit) or capacity to establish suitable on-site facility; facility must have current municipal rates/taxes or valid lease with lessor’s rates; facility must be properly equipped.
• Compulsory documents: valid Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN, full Central Supplier Database (CSD) report (not summary, not older than 30 days), company registration, certified copies of directors’ IDs, B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit.
• Returnable documents for any JV/consortium and each party as applicable; COIDA where relevant; proof of municipal rates/taxes for business and directors; Domicilium etc. as required by tender.
• General contract framework: GCC/SCC as per 2010 General Conditions; adherence to Preferential Procurement Regulations; no briefing session (as per Special Conditions).

• Documents available from 26 October 2026 on the City website ( tenders folder ) and National Treasury e-Tender Portal (COM135/2026).
• Submit duly completed bid documents in a sealed envelope in the bid box at 1 Nel Street, Mbombela Civic Centre (Mbombela 1200) before 11:00 on 3 November 2026; late or e-mailed bids will not be considered.
• Include all mandatory attachments: MBD forms, CSD full report, TCS PIN, company registration, certified identity copies of owners, proof of municipal rates/taxes (business and directors), B-BBEE documentation, JV agreement if applicable, and a copy of the company registration certificate. • No compulsory briefing session; submit in accordance with tender instructions and pricing schedules.
