Overview

Appointment of a Service Provider to Provide Project Management Services for the Installation of Anti-Climbing Wire Mesh Fencing at the Waterkloof Vacant Land. SAWS invites bids from experienced project managers with fencing installation expertise to manage multi-phase installation, risk and contract oversight, and related governance. Budget is up to R500,000, with a 60-day validity post-closing.

Requirements

• Project management services for the anti-climbing wire mesh fencing installation (Annexure H).
• Service provider must have approved operational premises with necessary infrastructure and relevant accreditation; a due diligence site visit may be conducted prior to award.
• Compliance with tax obligations: provide SARS PIN or CSD number; if foreign, SARS tax confirmation may be required.
• Complete and submit all standard bid documents: Annexure A (invitation/competitiveness), Annexure B (GCC), Annexure C (Bidder’s Disclosure), Annexure F (Preference Points), Annexure G (Pricing Schedule), Annexure H (Specifications/Terms of Reference), Annexure I (POPIA consent).
• Preference points under 80/20 system (price 80, specific goals 20); provide proof for claimed specific goals.
• Subcontracting: submit proof of subcontracting arrangements if applicable.
• SLA requirement: successful bidder must conclude a Service Level Agreement and provide a performance scorecard.
• Bid is subject to GCC; SAWS may verify information, conduct site visits, and reject non-compliant offers.
• No bids from state-employed individuals or entities; compliance with POPIA and other applicable laws.
