Overview

Provision of comprehensive water quality monitoring services, including groundwater and potable water sampling, laboratory analysis (macro-chemical and microbiological), reporting, and related services across SARAO’s Karoo sites for NRF SARAO for two years. Bidders should have a SANAS-accredited drinking-water laboratory or a documented arrangement with one, plus proven capability for remote-site sampling and reporting.

Requirements

• SANAS accreditation for drinking water analysis (or subcontracted lab with valid SANAS certificate).
• SANAS scope of accreditation demonstrating required macro-chemical and microbiological methods.
• Qualified personnel: CVs, certified qualifications, and minimum 3 years’ relevant experience.
• Detailed Sampling Methodology including QA/QC and chain-of-custody.
• Evidence of three recent groundwater monitoring projects (reference letters within last 5 years).
• Commitment that laboratory turnaround time is <=15 working days after sampling.
• Equipment register with valid calibration certificates; field equipment calibrated per manufacturer.
• COIDA compliance (Letter of Good Standing).
• Health and Safety policy and evidence of competent personnel on operational sites.
• Logistics capability to maintain cold-chain and hold times in remote SARAO sites.
