APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER TO RENDER 24-HOUR SECURITY GUARDING SERVICES AT VARIOUS IDFC PROPERTIES UNDER CLUSTER 1 IN KWAZULU-NATAL, FOR A PERIOD OF 36 MONTHS. This open-tender seeks a security provider to cover specified Durban sites for 36 months; suitable for PSIRA-registered security firms with 24-hour operations, guard tracking, riot response, and related capabilities.

Requirements

• PSIRA certification for operations management (Grade A) with 3+ years’ experience; CV and copies required.
• Minimum references: at least 2 client letters for similar 24-hour guarding projects.
• Proof of public liability insurance (R5,000,000+).
• Proof of SARS tax compliance status (PIN or CSD registration; all parties if JV/consortium).
• CSD registration or SARS e-filing PIN; COIDA good standing; PSSPF Section 13A.
• Comprehensive equipment/operational capabilities: IDs, uniforms, patrol vehicles, active monitoring system, control room.
• Detailed staff deployment plan; PSIRA certificates for guards (42 for Cluster 1); riot plan with firearms details and competency certificates.
• 24-hour dedicated control room and RIOT response arrangements; Annexure A pricing conformity; compliance with bargaining council wage templates.
