APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER TO RENDER 24 HOUR SECURITY GUARDING SERVICES AT ISITHEBE INDUSTRIAL ESTATE IN KWAZULU NATAL FOR A PERIOD OF 36 MONTHS. The contract requires a 24/7 security service with unarmed Grade C guards, armed supervisors, dedicated patrol vehicles, a 24-hour control room, and an active guard monitoring system. Bidders must be PSIRA-registered, in good standing with SARS, and compliant with CSD, PSSPF, and COIDA; the contract includes a 36-month term, staffing levels (e.g., 37 day guards and 37 night guards per shift, plus armed supervisors), and site-specific equipment/CCTV monitoring. A compulsory online briefing is part of the process.

Requirements

• Compliance with Central Supplier Database (CSD) and SARS tax status (including PIN) and, for consortia, separate PIN/CSD per party.
• PSIRA registration and valid PSIRA certificates for guards; 13A/PSSPF and COIDA good standing.
• Proof of Public Liability Insurance (minimum R5,000,000) and ongoing coverage for the contract duration.
• Completion of mandatory bid documents (SBD1, SBD4, etc.) and attendance at the compulsory online briefing.
• Site staffing and equipment plan (37 Grade C guards day, 37 Grade C guards night, 2 armed supervisors day, 2 armed supervisors night) plus 2 dedicated 24-hour patrol vehicles and a guard monitoring system.
• VAT status where applicable and compliance with price/bargaining council requirements.
• Bid validity period of 120 days.
