Requirements

• Proof of PSIRA registration for the company and for directors/owners; PSIRA good standing.
• Central Suppliers Database (CSD) registration for all bidders; if in a JV, each party must be CSD-registered.
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN, or provide CSD number if no PIN; tax clearance where applicable.
• Valid VAT registration number.
• Public liability insurance minimum R1,000,000.
• COIDA/Workmen’s Compensation registration and good standing.
• Original bid documents signatures; complete forms on official SBD templates (SBD 1, SBD 3.1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1) and SBD 7 contract form; compliance with ETC and GCC/SCC as applicable.
• Pricing must align with PSIRA rates; include PSIRA-related allowances and all costs for 36 months.
• Preference points system: 80/20 (price vs. specific goals); provide documentary proof for specific goals (e.g., Black ownership, female ownership, youth, uMzinyathi district location) as required.
• The Department may award to one or more bidders and may relocate offices with 3 months’ notice (variation terms applying).
