Overview

Appointment of a service provider to render institutional readiness assessment for SASSETA over three years. The work spans solution validation, enterprise ICT readiness, ICT strategy alignment, organisational readiness, environment effectiveness, and enterprise automation. The estimated value is up to around R6,000,000 (incl. VAT). Proposals close 28 September 2026 at 11:00; submissions are electronic to institutional@sasseta.org.za (RFP/SASSETA/26271102). The RFP notes no compulsory briefing session (see RFP - Institutional Readiness Assessment.pdf); refer also to the GCC and SBD documents for contract terms.

Requirements

• Compliance with POPIA and valid Information Regulator registration in the bidding company name.
• Valid Project Management Certification (PMP) for the Project Manager/Team Leader.
• ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification (submit a valid certificate).
• Minimum five (5) years IT consulting experience for the Project Manager/Team Leader.
• Demonstrated experience in five or more comparable ICT assurance / system readiness assignments with client references.
• Bidding company must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) by closing time; provide the CSD report.
• Commitment to confidentiality and signing a confidentiality agreement as part of the SLA.
• Submit all SBD forms (SBD1, SBD3.3, SBD4, SBD6.1), initial GCC pages, and a complete pricing schedule (Annexure B/Pricing Template).
• Provide a team structure/organogram and role-to-deliverable mapping; include CVs or Annexure B CV templates.
• Ensure POPIA/PI compliance details and proper data handling provisions in the bid.
