Overview

Procurement of a service provider to render repairs, upgrades and maintenance service of the private road at ATNS Victoria West VOR site. Bidders should be civil engineering/construction contractors with CIDB minimum 3CE, proven road repairs/maintenance experience, strong OH&S and regulatory compliance (SARS TCS, CSD, POPIA), and the capacity to supply skilled personnel and equipment for a 2 km concrete road upgrade.

Requirements

• CIDB: minimum 3CE registration or higher; proof of active status (Volume 1A).
• Occupational Health and Safety: safety file on site; compliance with OHSA 1993/Construction Regulations 2014.
• Experience and personnel: minimum five reference letters for road repairs/maintenance; key staff with specified qualifications (Site Agent with Civil Engineering degree and ECSA registration; Supervisor with N6 in civil; Safety Officer with SACPCMP; First Aider).
• Construction program: detailed plan within a four-month duration.
• Compliance: COIDA good standing; SARS Tax Compliance PIN; CIDB proof or active CIDB application; local footprint in Bloemfontein area.
• Equipment: at least one Tractor Loader Backhoe (TLB) owned or leased with proof.
• Locality: proof of local presence within the Bloemfontein area.
• Additional: pricing via SBD 3.3; CSD/CIPC documents; B-BBEE documentation for preference points.
