APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER TO RENDER SECURITY GUARDING SERVICES FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF WATER AND SANITATION NORTH WEST: PROVINCIAL OPERATIONS (WATER QUALITY OFFICE, KUPEROORD OFFICE AND MMABATHO OFFICE) FOR 36 MONTHS. This open tender seeks a private security service provider to safeguard DWS assets in the North West. Bidders should have PSIRA accreditation (company with Grade A for directors), SSA security screening, COIDA and SARS tax compliance, and relevant PSIRA experience; documents indicate mandatory admin checks, insurance, and B-BBEE requirements.

Requirements

• PSIRA registration for the company and Grade A for directors; valid PSIRA registration and good standing (not older than 3 months)
• COIDA good standing letter
• SARS Tax Compliance Status (PIN) or CSD number; CSD printout if no TCS
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration
• Public liability insurance of at least R5 million (or a letter of intent from an FSP)
• PSIRA employee listing and ICASA two-way devices; proof of current security contracts and client references
• Command post/site office within 100–200 km of the service site; inspection by DWS
• Vehicles registered in the company name; branded/uniformed workforce; operational control room
• SSA security screening certificate (positive) and mandatory PSIRA documentation for directors
• B-BBEE level certificate or sworn affidavit; local enterprise eligibility; adherence to pricing/PP rules
• Bid validity: 180 days from closing time; compliance with GCC, PPR 2022, and SLA terms
