Overview

Appointment of a service provider to service, maintain, repair, replace existing units, supply and install cleaning and hygiene services units and equipment for all the Johannesburg Roads Agency’s sites, including COJ Transport. Eligible bidders are companies with capabilities in maintenance and installation of cleaning/hygiene units and related equipment, with PPPFA/GCC compliance and relevant certifications (see attached RFQ).

Requirements

• Mandatory compliance: no bids from persons in the state’s service; complete all Declarations and MBD forms; submit the JRA pricing schedule (MBD 3.1); deposit bids on time; sign Joint Venture agreements where applicable.
• Registrations/certifications: must be registered on National Treasury CSD; tax compliance (PIN/TCS); BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; for EMEs, auditor letter if turnover < R10M; attach certified IDs for directors.
• Industry credentials: attach NCCA/BEECA/CASA certificate; SAPCA certificate; pest-control/agro certifications as applicable.
• Additional verifications: proof of municipal rates, CSD report, and separate TCS/PIN for each JV/consortium; ensure proper JV consolidation for BBBEE.
• Local content: designated-sector rules apply; if applicable, declare local content per SATS 1286:2011 (N/A noted in this tender).
