Overview

RFQ to appoint a service provider to supply and deliver long service award materials to Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife for three years, as and when required. Bidders should be capable of manufacturing/ supplying award gifts (e.g., photo frames and olive-green/gold bars) and delivering to the Pietermaritzburg Head Office (as per delivery terms).

Requirements

• Tax and supplier database compliance: SARS PIN/TCS, CSD number (separate for joint ventures/sub-contractors); registration by bid close; non-compliance risks disqualification.
• Central Suppliers Database (CSD) registration and up-to-date details.
• B-BBEE: provide B-BBEE status level certificate or sworn affidavit to qualify for points.
• Bidding documents: submit official forms (SBD 1, SBD 3.1 Pricing Schedule, SBD 4, SBD 6.1) and authority to sign bid; bid must be on official forms, not retyped.
• Pricing and delivery: firm prices (no rate variations); deliver items listed in the Pricing Schedule (delivery to Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife Head Office, Pietermaritzburg); include all delivery costs.
• Preference points: 80/20 system with specific goals (e.g., at least 51% black ownership, black ownership by women/youth, disability proof, and geographic location in uMgungundlovu). Prove claims with CSD reports where required.
• Documentation and compliance: ensure all questions answered; attach certificates; PDFs only; single email submission (one file).
