Overview

DBSA invites bids to appoint a service provider to supply and deliver depot equipment on behalf of the National Department of Health (NDOH) for Regions 2. The contract covers depot/warehouse equipment (electric pallet jacks, pallet stackers, forklifts, stock-picking trolleys, folding nose trolleys, stacking pallets) for Limpopo, North West and Mpumalanga depots, with an emphasis on stock availability and timely delivery. Bidders should have proven experience supplying depot equipment, and meet CSD, SARS Tax PIN and BBBEE requirements, among other standard bid documents. A compulsory briefing is scheduled, and bids must be submitted electronically.

Requirements

• Compulsory briefing attendance
• Completed and signed Declaration of Default and Termination
• Minimum two completed depot/warehouse equipment projects in the last 5 years with contract value ≥ R1,000,000 each; provide appointment letters and client confirmations
• Registration with CSD, SARS Tax PIN, BBBEE certificate (or affidavit)
• Public liability insurance (R1,000,000 per claim, with no per‑contract cap)
• Bid to be loaded electronically via the submission link; no hard copies
• Bid pricing evaluated on 80 points; BBBEE on 20 points; minimum 70% for functional criteria to pass
• Validity period: 120 days; responses governed by DBSA rules and South African law
