Overview

APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER TO SUPPLY AND DELIVER PROTECTIVE PERSONAL EQUIPMENT (PPE) FOR THE INVASIVE ALIEN SPECIES PROGRAMME FOR A PERIOD OF 24 MONTHS. The KwaZulu-Natal EDTEA invites PPE suppliers to bid for a 24-month delivery contract. Mandatory briefing and an online/physical submission process apply; bids are due 15 Sep 2026 (11:00). Briefing is 01 Sep 2026 at Cedara College Auditorium, PMB; submission address is 270 Jabu Ndlovu Street, Pietermaritzburg.

Requirements

• Compliance with Treasury Regulations, the KZN SCM Policy Framework, and the GCC; preconditions apply.
• Registration on the Central Suppliers Database (CSD) and tax compliance (SARS PIN) or CSD number if no PIN.
• Completion of required bid forms: SBD1, SBD4, SBD6.1, Section B returnables, etc.; pricing on SBD 3.1 (goods) and SBD 3.3 (professional services) where applicable.
• Proof of HDI, RDP and related specific goals to claim points (ownership demographic form, CIPC certificate, etc.).
• Submission must be in the official bid format; 120-day validity; bid documents downloadable from etenders.gov.za or kznedtea.gov.za.
• Mandatory briefing session attendance (if applicable) and completion of related certificate.
• Sign official submission register upon delivery; ensure timely arrival.
• Optional: Section L Official Briefing/Site Inspection Certificate applicability.
