PU5510/026 Supply and Delivery of Textbooks

Overview

Procurement of the supply and delivery of textbooks to Goldfields TVET College for 36 months. The RFP seeks a service provider to supply and deliver a range of textbooks for the college, with delivery lead times and local proof requirements, for a 3-year period. Bidders should have experience in educational publishing/distribution and comply with SA procurement rules. Submissions are electronic via PURCO SA; a non-refundable tender fee of R1,150 applies. The Briefing is non-mandatory and will be online; closing date is mid‑November 2026. The contract targets delivery to Welkom campus (Free State) with a 90‑day validity period.

Requirements

• Pre-qualification mandatory information (submit via RFP): RFP document initials on each page; pricing schedule; bank letter; company registration; SARS Tax compliance status; B-BBEE certificate or affidavit; board resolution (if not sole proprietor); certified IDs for directors/shareholders; CSD registration; Audited/management accounts; COIDA good standing; completed SBD forms 1, 4, 6.1.
• Stage 1: Functionality (min 70% to progress): 3+ contactable references; demonstrated security of supply; delivery lead time (4 weeks, 4–6 weeks, or >6 weeks); proof of locality in Free State; proof of delivery transport.
• Additional conditions: 90‑day bid validity; tender documents accessed via PURCO SA; compliance with Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment requirements.
