Overview

Procurement of a service provider to supply and install a 200KL sectional steel reservoir. SAFCOL seeks a qualified contractor to supply and install a 200KL closed sectional steel reservoir at Blyde Plantation (Graskop area) with concrete ring beam, liner, inlet/outlet, ladders, overflow, level indicator, and associated works. Bidder eligibility targets CIDB 1ME or higher, COIDA/Tax compliance, SANAS/SANAS-accredited B-BBEE or sworn affidavit, CSD registration, and adherence to local employment and targeted enterprise goals (within Ehlanzeni District).

Requirements

• CIDB Registration: at least 1ME or higher.
• Legal compliance: COIDA good standing, SARS tax compliance, and CSD registration (or register within 7 working days of award).
• BBBEE: SANAS-accredited verification or EME/QSE sworn affidavit.
• Documentation: sign all SBD forms; official quotation on letterhead.
• Contract form: NEC4 Engineering and Construction Short Contract (ECSC4) attached; sign and comply.
• Local/Transformaton requirements: local direct employment of 100%; 25% women and 25% youth; targeted Enterprises within Ehlanzeni; engage Targeted Enterprises; monthly reporting on KPIs.
• Due diligence: SAFCOL may verify information; non-compliance or misrepresentation disqualifies.
• Returnable documents: complete RFQ, tax clearance, BBBEE, CSD/MAAA, Supplier Code of Conduct, NEC document, and other supporting docs.
• Project specifics: 12-week works window after starting date; 2-week mobilization; 30-day invoicing payments; 5% retention; delay damages; risk and safety provisions per NEC4; insurance as required.
