APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER TO SUPPLY & DELIVER 2ND HAND EQUIPMENT FOR VODACOM LESOTHO

Overview

The procurement is a RFQ to appoint a service provider to supply and deliver 2nd-hand telecommunications equipment for Vodacom Lesotho. Bidders should have telecom hardware sourcing/refurbishment capability to supply used network gear (e.g., Infinera mTera modules, Cisco NCS5400 family, QSFP/QSFP28 transceivers) and deliver to Broadband Infraco, with compliance to safety, tax, and procurement requirements and pricing in ZAR.

Requirements

• Valid Tax Clearance certificate and SARS PIN (for price quotations over R30 000) or a valid CSD number.
• Full National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration and CSD report; SARS PIN verification as applicable.
• B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit (certified copies); EMEs/QSEs may provide sworn affidavits.
• Complete SBD 1, SBD 4, and SBD 6.1; submit PART A for quotations over R30 000; include the official pricing schedule in Rand with VAT and installation/delivery costs.
• OHSA compliance costs/safety file where applicable and full compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Deliverability and compatibility evidence: samples may be requested; equipment likely to be second-hand but must be compatible with stated platforms; minimum 12-month warranty; delivery to the specified Broadband Infraco address.
• Additional: use of official documents; no pre-delivery services without a Broadband Infraco Purchase Order; potential to award to one or more providers; payment upon approved invoice.
