APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER TO SUPPLY, DELIVER, INSTALL, SUCCESSFULLY COMMISSION AND MAINTAIN A NEW CARBON, HYDROGEN, NITROGEN, AND SULPHUR ANALYSER FOR COKE AND COAL MATERIALS AT THE COUNCIL FOR GEOSCIENCE

Overview

Procurement of a carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, and sulphur analyser (CHN&S) for coke and coal materials, including supply, delivery, installation, successful commissioning and ongoing maintenance for the Council for Geoscience. Bidders should be capable suppliers of CHNS analysers and associated integration, installation, training and after-sales support, with compliance to CGS procurement rules, tax, and BBBEE requirements. Requirements

• Proven capability to supply, install, commission and maintain a CHN&S analyser with specified technical performance and integration to LIMS.
• Compliance with CGS bid rules: two-envelope bid, complete SBD forms, admin docs, CSD/Tax compliance, BBBEE where applicable, and JV/consortium provisions if relevant.
• Technical specs compliance: CHNS ranges, detectors, microbalance, gas and furnace specs, 30+ sample autoloader, 15–35°C ambient, 220–240 V, SANS 10142-1 CoC, software compatible with LIMS, on-site training and 3-year service contract; 12-month warranty.
• Delivery and support: delivery within 2 months of contract; local post-purchase support; manufacturer-trained engineers; 48-hour response for support.
• Documentation and warranties: comprehensive manuals, software licenses for multiple users, standard factory acceptance, and warranty terms.
