Overview

The HSRC invites bids to supply Dell laptops, accessories and a 3-year warranty, with delivery to HSRC sites. The requirement includes 40 laptops and 10 monitors, onsite next-business-day warranty, and related peripherals (see 8.2 Terms of Reference Laptops.pdf).

Who should bid: service providers with Dell accreditation, SITA accreditation, distributor delivery capacity, CSD registration, tax compliance, and proven Dell laptop supply experience (minimum 3 reference letters for Dell laptops in last 5 years).

Requirements

• Pre-qualification documents: Invitation to Bid (SBD 1), Declaration of Interest (SBD 4), Preference Point Form (SBD 6.1); Dell Accreditation; SITA Accreditation; distributor delivery confirmation; CSD registration (and proof); tax compliance status.
• Functional criteria: Full technical compliance with specs; three signed reference letters for Dell laptops in last five years.
• Procurement rules: two-envelope bid (technical + pricing) with original and USB copy; two quotations per citation database; potential award to one or more bidders.
• Pricing and posts: Annexure A pricing schedule; VAT/taxes included; contract price adjustments annually.
• Compliance: tax clearance, no state-employed bidders, confidentiality, and adherence to PPPFA/BBBEE requirements (specific goals). (Details in 8.2 Terms of Reference Laptops.pdf)

• Required registrations/pre-qualifications: CSD registration; Dell and SITA accreditations; tax clearance (SARS TCS PIN) or CSD number; proof of delivery capability from distributor. (see 8.2 Terms of Reference Laptops.pdf)
