Overview

Procurement: Appointment of a service provider to undertake the survey of 100 homes in Lyonsville, Uniondale on behalf of George Municipality using the Greenlight methodology & reporting system. Bid should interest firms with Greenlight practitioners, GIS/data-capture capability, and community survey experience (including training municipal staff). (GMQ 107/25-26)

Requirements

• Accredited Greenlight practitioners; minimum 3 years’ Greenlight experience; project lead authorized to use the system.
• Must manage the project end-to-end: household selection, recruitment/training of surveyors, data capture in Greenlight, reporting and recommendations.
• 100 surveys completed within 30 days, supervised on site; GIS-based data capture for each household; monthly progress reports (first working day of each month).
• Staffing: recruit 4 Uniondale surveyors and train at least 4 George Municipality staff (Phase 2).
• Documentation and compliance: tax clearance (TCS PIN or SARS/CSD), BBBEE certificate (valid original or certified copy), past experience schedule (compulsory), and Joint Venture/Contractual doc if applicable.
• Locality: proof of George office for locality points; contract governed by George SCM policies; maximum project duration up to 5 months.
• Pricing must fit within the budget ceiling (R300,000 incl. VAT); pricing schedule, terms, and general conditions apply. (GMQ 25-26)
