Overview

This tender is for appointing a service provider to undertake water quality management for a period of 3 years. Target bidders are firms with water quality management, environmental monitoring, laboratory analysis, chemical dosing, sampling and reporting capabilities, and the ability to operate across SAFCOL plantation sites (e.g., Ngome, Roburnia, Jessievale, Nelshoogte, Berlin, Belfast, Lakenvlei, Tweefontein, Uitsoek, Witklip, Brooklands, Woodbush, Entabeni, Blyde/Morgenzon). Pricing covers multiple plantation sites as detailed in the Annexure A Pricing Schedule (RFB008.2026).

Requirements

• Registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and SARS tax compliance (PIN/TCS) where applicable; BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit.
• Adherence to PPPFA, GCC, and any applicable special conditions; responses on official forms only.
• If a consortium/Joint Venture or subcontractors are involved, provide separate TCS/PIN/CSD for each party and signed agreements detailing work split and rand value.
• Security clearances for personnel, non-disclosure agreements, and compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) requirements.
• Water quality services must meet relevant SA standards (e.g., SANS 241) and include sampling, analysis, reporting, and timely recommendations.

• Closing date/time: 22 July 2026 at 12:00; late bids will not be accepted.
• Submission: hand deliver or courier bids to SAFCOL Nelspruit Office, Absa Square, 3rd Floor Reception, 20 Paul Kruger Street, Mbombela/Nelspruit. Bid box hours: 08:00–16:30, Mon–Fri.
• Documents to submit (on official forms): SBD 1, SBD 3.1 (Pricing Schedule), SBD 4 (Bidder’s Disclosure), SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim Form). Include BBBEE documentation and CSD/SARS details as applicable (RFB008/2026; SBD 1, SBD 3.1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1; Annexure A). Pricing must be VAT inclusive and align with Annexure A (RFB008/2026 – Annexure A).
