Overview

APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER TO UNDERTAKE WATER QUALITY MANAGEMENT FOR VARIOUS BUSINESS UNITS IN THE HIGHVELD REGION FOR A PERIOD OF SIX (6) MONTHS. SAFCOL seeks a service provider to manage potable water and wastewater quality across multiple plantations, including dosing, chemical supply, sampling, laboratory analysis, and reporting. Suitable bidders include water quality management specialists, laboratories with SANAS accreditation, and firms with COID and relevant certifications.

Requirements

• SANAS accreditation for chemical analysis (own lab) or valid SANAS-listed third-party lab with a supporting agreement
• Valid SARS tax clearance and registration with CSD (register within 7 days of award)
• BBBEE: SANAS-accredited certificate or sworn affidavit for EME/QSE; JV requires consolidated BEE
• Completion and submission of SBD forms; NEC; Supplier Code of Conduct; Bidder’s Disclosure (SBD4); Preference form (SBD6.1)
• Demonstrated experience in water quality management with 2 reference letters
• Compliance with Water Act, SANS 241 and related laboratory/quality controls
• Documents to return: tax clearance, latest BBBEE, CSD/MAAA number, SANAS proof, and all returnable documents
