APPOINTMENT OF A SUITABLE SERVICE PROVIDER TO SUPPLY, DELIVER AND OFFLOAD CLEANING MATERIALS AND CHEMICALS

Overview

The City of Johannesburg seeks service providers to supply, deliver and offload wristbands for community development, sport and recreation (COJ0002-26/27) and to supply, deliver and offload cleaning materials and chemicals (COJ0013-26/27). Suitable bidders include suppliers of wristbands (Tyvek or equivalent) and cleaning chemicals, with delivery/ off-loading capability and relevant compliance.

Requirements

Wristbands (COJ0002-26/27)

• Compulsory: samples may be requested from recommended providers before approval (see attached RFQ docs).
• Compliance: register on City supplier database; valid tax clearance/SARS pin; BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; CIDB where required; ISO/health/safety provisions as applicable.

Cleaning materials (COJ0013-26/27)

• Items include disinfectant gel (5L) and antibacterial hand soap (25L drums); delivery to Main Reef and Randburg Stores with specified allocations (see Form B).
• Compliance: supplier registration, tax clearance, BBBEE, and related SCM declarations; same 80/20 evaluation criteria with preferential points (Johannesburg location; Black-owned; Women-owned where applicable).

Both

• Labour for off-loading/delivery required; prices must be vat-exclusive and firm; forward exchange cover if price is exchange-rate dependent; no price changes after closing; adhere to supplier database and CSD requirements (COJ0013-26/27 similarly references these conditions; see respective PDFs).
