Overview

Appointment of a suitably qualified and appropriately accredited training provider to provide Dispensing Licence Course training to professional nurses / eligible health professionals (20 Professional nurses). Bidders should be training providers with relevant accreditation/recognition for dispensing training, capable of delivering a theoretical and practical course to prepare identified nurses to obtain a dispensing licence. Training will be delivered in Queenstown (Chris Hani District, EC DoH).

Requirements

• Demonstrable competence in dispensing-related training for nurses/health professionals; valid accreditation/recognition for the course.
• Qualified and registered facilitators; participating staff with relevant qualifications and professional registration.
• At least three institutional references; training programme outline, learning materials, and assessment methods.
• Capacity to deliver the full course (5 days), provide attendance registers, certificates, final report, and licence guidance.
• Course content aligned to SA legislation (Medicines and Related Substances Act, Nursing Act, SA Nursing Council requirements) and DoH policies.
• Compliance with DoH procurement rules: CSD registration, tax compliance, LOGIS registration, and pricing scheduled as required (SBD forms).
• Deliverables include a training manual, assessments, certificates, and a 10-working-day final report to the hospital.
