APPOINTMENT OF A SUITABLY QUALIFIED AND AUTHORISED SERVICE PROVIDER TO COORDINATE AND MANAGE THE TECHNICAL SERVICE AND REPAIRS OF SPECIALISED VIDEO EQUIPMENT FOR THE PERIOD OF 24 MONTHS

Overview

Appointment of a suitably qualified and authorised service provider to coordinate and manage the technical service and repairs of specialised video equipment for the period of 24 months. Bidders should be capable in audiovisual/electronic equipment maintenance and repairs, with proven experience and relevant registrations (CSD, SARS tax status) and compliance for public sector contracts. Items include Sony FX3/FX6, lenses, SDI cabling, tripods, Godox lighting, and Blackmagic ATEM Mini.

Requirements

• Demonstrated track record in service/repair of video or similar electronic equipment (mandatory).
• Tax and supplier registrations: valid SARS Tax PIN and Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration numbers; if involved in a consortium, each party must submit.
• Completion and submission of SBD documents: SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1; SBD 7 if long-term contract.
• B-BBEE documentation: valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; certified copies if applicable.
• Company profile, proof of registration (CIPC), ID copies of directors, and POPIA consent forms.
• POPIA/PAIA compliance and consent forms; agreement to GCC General Conditions.
• Provide technical specifications and pricing aligned to the listed equipment; official company quotation on letterhead.

• Mandatory/briefing: No compulsory briefing session (N/A).
