APPOINTMENT OF A SUITABLY QUALIFIED AND EXPERIENCED CONTRACTOR TO CARRY OUT ROOF LEAK REMEDIAL WORKS AT THE SABS EAST LONDON OFFICE

Overview

The SABS invites quotations to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to carry out roof leak remedial works at the SABS East London office. Bidders with roofing remediation expertise should consider bidding; required are CIDB 3GB or higher, COIDA registration, liability insurance, and ability to provide CSD, BBBEE documentation, and SBD forms.

Requirements

• CIDB grading 3 GB or higher
• COIDA registration (Department of Labour)
• Liability insurance (minimum R500,000)
• CSD registration report
• BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
• SBD 4 Bidders Disclosure Form
• SBD 6.1 Preference Points form
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar services; submit reference letters (not older than 5 years)
• Project plan, workmanship warranty (12 months), and pricing breakdown (fixed costs for listed items)

Evaluation: Company Profile (40%), Track Record (40%), Project Plan (10%), Workmanship Warranty (10%) — minimum 70% threshold
