Overview

RFQ to appoint a training service provider to facilitate in-person laboratory training of SABS employees, delivering Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) for general staff and Laboratory Operations Management for managers/technical leads. Suitable bidders are Skills Development Providers registered to offer training with quality assurance, with facilitators experienced in ISO/IEC 17025, laboratory quality management systems, and active membership in relevant professional bodies.

Requirements

• Skills Development Provider Registration with relevant quality assurance requirements
• Laboratory-specific credibility for facilitators
• ISO/IEC 17025 knowledge and experience in laboratory quality mgmt and auditing
• Facilitators with practical laboratory experience and knowledge of GLP and related systems
• Facilitators registered with professional bodies (e.g., SA Council for Natural Scientific Professions or similar)
• Functionality criteria (70% minimum): company experience, facilitators’ experience, programme outline/methodology, and client references
• Documents to submit: CSD registration report, BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, SBD 4, SBD 6.1 (Priority: 80/20 points system)
