Overview

Appointment of a Travel Management Company to provide Travel Management Services for Sasria for a 60-month period (5 years). Sasria seeks a TMC to manage local/international travel for flights, accommodation, car hire, shuttles, visas and conferences, with a cloud-based online booking tool, policy enforcement, and traveller self-service. The supplier must be IATA-accredited, offer 24/7 after-hours support, robust risk and data security controls (POPIA), and comprehensive reporting. Proposals are via Sasria’s Online Tender Portal, with an Addendum extending the closing date to 09 October 2026 at 12:00. Requirements

• IATA-accredited travel agent with current certificate.
• Online booking tool with: workflow approvals, policy compliance, document repository, management reporting, mobile access, audit trail. Demonstration required.
• 24/7 after-hours and emergency support with defined SOPs.
• POPIA-compliant traveller risk management, data security controls, and reporting.
• Detailed implementation plan including data migration and go-live support; dedicated account management and quarterly/annual reviews.
• Financial/commercial: VAT-exclusive pricing, four schedules, and adherence to National Treasury cost-containment where applicable; all third-party costs clearly separated.
• Governance/compliance: proof of tax compliance (CSD/SARS), B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit (EME/QSE as applicable), and completion of SBDs Annexures.
• Scope includes local/international travel reservations, reporting, cost containment, and KPI-driven performance.
