Overview

Appointment of a turnkey contractor for rehabilitation of the floating roof reservoir and filters at Hazelmere WTP. UUW invites competent contractors to undertake a 10-month construction project, with eligibility requiring CIDB 7CE or higher and professional registrations (Civil Engineer with ECSA; Construction Manager with SACPCMP).

Requirements

• CIDB grading of 7CE or higher.
• Civil engineer registered with ECSA (Pr. Eng. or Pr. Tech Eng.).
• Construction manager registered with SACPCMP (Pr. CM).
• At least 35% Contract Participation Goals (CPG): 25% UUW-area participation and 10% local/targeted enterprises (per B-BBEE policy). Sign CPG declaration.
• Functionality minimum: 70 points; evaluation uses Functionality, Price and Preference (90/10 or 80/20 system per tender data).
• Returnable documents and compliance: Tax Compliance Status, CSD where applicable, COID good standing, proof of attendance at compulsory clarification, and other standard certifications as listed in T2.
• Clarification meeting attendance and ability to sign documents at site (compulsory).
