Appointment of an accredited service provider to conduct Face to-Face training on Snake Handling Training for SAWS employees in Upington. The RFQ covers one-day snake handling training for 12 SAWS staff in Upington (Upington venue; budget up to R500k; electronic submission; closing 2026-11-03 11:00; 62-day validity). A second RFQ in the package covers face-to-face working-at-heights training for 13 personnel in Gqeberha. (See attached RFQ documents for details.)

Requirements

• Mandatory approvals and permits

  • Performing Animals Protection Act (PAPA) permit
• Qualifications and delivery readiness
  • Accredited service provider with relevant accreditation and operational premises
  • Willingness to undergo due diligence site visit; potential SLA and supplier scorecard
  • Capability to deliver safety-focused training, including hands-on and certification outcomes
• Documentation and pricing
  • Complete Annexures A, B, C, F, G, H and the POPIA Annexure
  • Price schedule must include VAT; provide ceiling price and cost break-down; confirm whether rates are firm
  • Potential subcontracting arrangements require proof
