Overview

Procurement of an electrical contractor to perform assessment, verification and certification of low-voltage electrical installations at Cape Town International Airport, under a NEC3 Term Service Contract for 24 months. Suitable bidders include electrical contracting firms with LV CoC capabilities and experience in LV installation, maintenance and certification; CIDB grading 4EB or higher; and the ability to meet SARS tax and supplier registration requirements.

Requirements

• CIDB grading of 4EB or higher. (T1.1)
• Demonstrated LV installations experience with CoC issuance; minimum three reference letters/certificates, within 15 years, on client letterhead with contact details. Site supervisor/contract manager CV detailing LV project management. (T1.1, T2)
• Compulsory briefing session attendance and post-briefing site inspection. (C2.7)
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN or a printed Tax Compliance Status certificate; separate PINs for consortium members if applicable; CSD number if no TCS. (C2.2–2.5)
• Completion and submission of returnable documents, with Forms of Offer and Acceptance and signatories; authority proofs. (T1/T2)
• Insurance/bonds and related securities as required in the contract data (Appendices). (C2)
