Overview

Appointment of an experienced and qualified service provider to supply and deliver SIGLENT Function Generator at Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT). The RFQ seeks 50 units of SIGLENT function generators for the Electrical Engineering unit, with a two-stage evaluation (eligibility/mandatory returnables, then price and BBBEE/preference) and an 80/20 BBBEE preference for bids up to R50 million.

Requirements

• Two-stage evaluation: Stage 1 – eligibility/mandatory returnables; Stage 2 – price and preference.
• Mandatory documents: RFQ form completed; company registration or MUT vendor registration; valid SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN; one dated reference letter; minimum 12-month equipment warranty; pricing schedule.
• Non-mandatory: CSD registration (MAAA) and BBBEE certificate for preferential points.
• Pricing: firm prices; prices inclusive of taxes; 90-day validity; separate pricing per delivery point if needed.
• Payment: 30 days after receipt of valid invoice; no advance payments.
• Other: MUT may accept all or part of bids; no obligation to award to the lowest bidder; strict anti-fraud/ethics terms apply.
