Overview

Appointment of an experienced service provider to render 24-hour security guarding services at Ithala properties in Kwa-Zulu Natal for up to six months. Target bidders are security-services providers with PSIRA registration, capacity to deploy guards across multiple sites, and compliance with SA procurement and security industry requirements (PSIRA, CSD, SARS, COIDA, PSSPF, insurance).

Requirements

• PSIRA registration and good standing; guards must be PSIRA-registered (Grade C) and operations manager (Grade B).
• Minimum administrative/compliance: CSD vendor registration; SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN; separate TCS/Pin for each JV/consortium; if no TCS, provide CSD number.
• Documentation: SBD 1 (Invitation to Bid) with resolution letter; SBD 4 (Declaration of Interest); fully completed Annexure A pricing; SBD 7 contract readiness.
• Insurance and statutory compliance: Public liability insurance (min. R5,000,000); COIDA good standing; Section 13A letter for PSSPF; PSIRA certificates for guards; proof of patrol vehicle; wage-rate compliance with Bargaining Council standards; on-site equipment and uniforms.
• Operational requirements: 24-hour control room, active guard-tracking system, and adherence to site-specific duties, incident reporting, and PSIRA standards.
