Overview

Appointment of an insurance broker to provide placement, maintenance and administration of Overberg Water Board's insurance portfolio for 36 months. Bidders should be experienced short-term insurance brokers with FSCA accreditation, registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD), and able to provide insurers/underwriters for all required classes, plus comply with BBBEE and tax/CSD pre-qualifications (see RFP OW-004/2026/2027 for details).

Requirements

• FSCA accreditation for relevant short-term insurance products. (RFP OW-004/2026/2027)
• Valid BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit for EMEs/QSEs. (RFP OW-004/2026/2027)
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN/CSD status; CSD printout if no PIN. (RFP OW-004/2026/2027)

• Evidence of insurance brokerage experience and capability: client reference letters, team CVs, and an accounts manager with relevant experience. (RFP OW-004/2026/2027)

• Annual Financial Statements for the past three years (audited). (RFP OW-004/2026/2027)
• Demonstrate claims handling capability with quarterly reports and 7-day claim turnaround. (RFP OW-004/2026/2027)
