Overview

Appointment of an insurance broker for Overberg Water Board for a 36-month period to place, manage and administer the Board’s insurance portfolio. Bidders should be experienced insurance brokers with FSCA accreditation for relevant short-term products, and must meet CSD, SARS TCS pin, BBBEE, and related qualification requirements.

Requirements

• Compulsory briefing session attendance.
• Proof of accreditation with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) for relevant short-term/insurance products.
• BBBEE verification certificate (SANAS) or sworn affidavit for EMEs.
• Annual Financial Statements for the last 3 years (audited).
• Complete and submit SBD 1, SBD 3.2 (Pricing), SBD 4, and SBD 6.1.
• Tax Compliance Status (SARS PIN/TCS) and CSD registration.
• Insurers/Underwriters for all quoted insurance classes.
• Evidence of short-term insurance brokerage experience; reference letters (last 5 years).
• Organogram and CVs; Accounts Manager with 5+ years in short-term insurance.
• Demonstrate claims experience (> R5 million in last 5 years).
• Tender validity: 120 days.
