Overview

Appointment of an Internet Service Provider (ISP) to provide the IPP Office with data lines, VOIP and Mimecast services for 36 months. The IPP Office requires an enterprise-grade ISP to supply data connectivity, Mimecast Email Archiving, and a hosted 3CX VOIP solution, with end-to-end managed services for three years. The scope includes 2x200Mb fibre lines with failover, MPLS breakout, 6 static IPs, monthly reporting, and a robust SLA to ensure high availability, while IPP retains administrative rights. Bids are open to capable ICT/ISP providers; the procurement follows an RFP process with a 120-day bid validity window.

Requirements

• SA bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide CSD number; lead entity details for consortia.
• Submit Tax Compliance Status (PIN) or equivalent SARS status; include CSD if no TCS.
• BBBEE: provide BBBEE status certificate or sworn affidavit; EMEs may supply an auditor's certificate.
• Demonstrate ISP experience (minimum 3 years) and furnish at least five contactable references in ISP/related services; provide CVs for at least three team members.
• Provide a detailed project plan and methodology addressing Data Lines, Mimecast Archived Email, and 3CX Hosted Solution; include a robust failover and notifications plan.
• Attend the compulsory briefing session (17 July 2026) and submit as a two-folder bid (Folder 1: Functionality/Returnables; Folder 2: Pricing).
• Complete all mandatory annexures and returnable schedules, including the pricing schedule (ANNEXURE A1) and SBD/Tax documentation.
