Appointment of brokers for provision of Insurance services to the PPECBClosed

Overview

Procurement of a South African insurance broker to provide comprehensive insurance broking and claims management services to PPECB, for an initial five-year term with a two-year renewal option. Suitable bidders are FSCA-registered insurance brokers with experience in professional indemnity, directors’ and officers’ liability, fidelity, and related lines, capable of handling PPECB’s broad asset portfolio and risk management needs.

Requirements

• FSCA registration and capacity to act as PPECB intermediary across local and international markets.
• Compliance with relevant laws (Financial Advisory & Intermediary Services Act; Short-term Insurance Act) and ability to place risks with reputable underwriters.
• Ability to perform: transition from incumbent, risk assessment, renewal planning, portfolio governance, claims management, and ongoing risk advisory.
• Mandatory returnable: clause-by-clause compliance schedule against the minimum cover requirements.
• Provide timely management reports (monthly/quarterly/annual) and attend review meetings.
• Proof of authorised signatory and, if applicable, joint ventures/consortiums with lead partner details.

How to Apply

• Submit pricing using the prescribed pricing schedule (Pricing_Structure.xlsx) and provide a compliance schedule against the Schedule of Minimum Cover Requirements. (Pricing_Structure.xlsx)
