Overview

APPOINTMENT OF FOUR (04) SERVICE PROVIDERS FOR THE PROVISION OF STATION CLEANING AND HORTICULTURAL SERVICES IN THE EASTERN CAPE REGION (ECR) FOR 36 MONTHS. PRASA seeks four providers to cover station cleaning, horticultural work and related services across the Eastern Cape, including multiple clusters. Bidders must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) and comply with all tender requirements. The compulsory briefing is 26 June 2026 at PRASA East London Station; closing date is 15 July 2026 at 12:00.

Requirements

• Registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide CSD details; tax/compliance status verified via SARS TCS or PIN/CSD.
• Compliance with the National Minimum Wage Act (Act No. 9 of 2019) and related wage/gazette requirements.
• Submission in two sealed envelopes: Volume 1 (technical/compliance) and Volume 2 (financial/B-BBEE).
• Completion of mandatory forms (SBDs) and annexed bid documents; signing by an authorized signatory; English, A4 format.
• BBBEE/socio-economic obligations and CIDB considerations as per the RFP; capacity to service multiple stations/clusters; provision of PPE, safety files, and training where applicable.

• Attend the compulsory briefing at PRASA East London Station (26 June 2026, 10:00). Bring Certificate of Attendance and register on the briefing list.
• Prepare responses in two envelopes: Volume 1 – Mandatory requirements and technical response; Volume 2 – Financial proposal and BBBEE. Include Form A–G, SBDs, pricing Schedule (Annexure A), and any requested attachments.
• Submit bids to: The Secretariat / Tender Office, PRASA Rail Eastern Cape Region, East London Station, No 8 Station Street, East London 5200, by 15 July 2026 at 12:00.
