Overview

Stats SA seeks one or more fleet service providers to supply hired vehicles for short-term, medium-term and long-term rental over 36 months. Bidders should be capable fleet operators with national coverage, diverse vehicle categories (including hybrids, sedans, SUVs, vans, buses, etc.), vehicle branding capability, tracking, and 24/7 support. Familiarity with service levels, insurance, maintenance, and reporting requirements is essential (as per SLA).

Requirements

• Tax & supplier pre-qualifications: register on CSD; provide SARS Tax Compliance status or PIN; provide CIPC certificate; board resolution authorizing signatory; identity documents; VAT details; and BBBEE documentation to claim specific goals (SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1; Attachments in Bid Document).
• Compliance with procurement framework: adhere to Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022 (80/20 or 90/10 system as applicable) and provide proof for any specific-goal claims (SBD 6.1).
• Evidence of authority to sign bid, and full disclosure declarations; no related-party conflicts; proper signatures on all forms (SBD 4, SBD 6.1).
