Overview

Appointment of one service provider per region to provide security services at SAFCOL sites for three years. This RFB seeks fixed-term security guard services (physical security) across SAFCOL’s Northern and Southern regions. Bidders may bid for one or both regions, but SAFCOL may limit awards so no single bidder receives more than one region. Requirements

• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration and tax compliance status (PIN/TCS) for all bidders; separate proofs for consortia/JVs/subcontractors.
• B-BBEE status verification (SANAS verifications or sworn affidavit for EMEs/QSEs) and completion of SBD forms (SBD1, SBD3.1, SBD4, SBD6.1).
• Proposals on official forms; signatures by authorized representatives; no retyping; adherence to GCC and PPPFA 2022.
• Security staffing standards: uniformed personnel, PSIRA registration, machinery/equipment list (scanners, radios, pepper spray, etc.), probation period (3 months).
• Scene requirements: 24-hour guard coverage at listed SAFCOL sites; armed guards where required; incident reporting, daily/monthly reports, and coordination with SAPS.
• Confidentiality, NDA, and compliance with SAFCOL Supplier Code of Conduct.
• Compliance with the National Industrial Participation Programme and related legal frameworks.
