APPOINTMENT OF PANEL OF CONTRACTORS FOR THE CIVIL ENGINEERING AND BUILDING WORKS IN THE NDLAMBE AREA FOR THREE YEARS – PACKAGE C

Overview

Appointment of a panel of contractors for civil engineering and building works in the Ndlambe area for three years – Package C (CIDB Grade 4CE/GB and higher). Experienced contractors with active CIDB registrations, minimum functionality of 70/100, and compliance with Ndlambe SCM policies are invited. Joint ventures are allowed with appropriate CIDB levels. The panel is a framework-style, “as-and-when” arrangement for a 36-month term (Package C details in the Bid Documents).

Requirements

• CIDB active registration: CE Panel 1 and GB Panel 2 (Grade 4CE/GB or higher) (see document T11/2627).
• Functionality: minimum 70/100 (related experience, resources, and health & safety).
• Compliance: Ndlambe SCM policies; tax PIN/TCC; Municipal Billing Clearance Certificate; CIDB registration evidence; CSD supplier number.
• Joint ventures: allowed with each member CIDB-registered; lead partner at least one level below required grading (see T11/2627).
• Documentation: complete MBD forms (MBD1, MBD4, MBD5, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9) and returnable schedules; price validity as per pricing schedule; prices include VAT (see MBD requirements).
• Availability: open panel with periodic revisions; rotation for allocations; no guaranteed quantities (Package C scope and governance outlined in documents).
