Overview

The appointment of a panel of registered Generator Service providers for the maintenance, repair and replacement of unserviceable parts of generators at CUT Bloemfontein and Welkom campuses for a 36-month term, as required. Open to qualified generator service providers capable of on-site/field maintenance and parts replacement for two campuses, on a call-out/as-needed basis.

Requirements

• Must be a registered generator service provider capable of maintenance, repair and replacement of generator parts for CUT sites.
• Contract duration: 36 months, as-and-when-required, at CUT Bloemfontein and Welkom campuses.
• Mandatory online briefing session: 3 June 2026 at 11:10 (registration link provided in the tender adverts).
• Tender documents must be purchased from PURCO SA (non-refundable R1,150, VAT included) and submitted via the PURCO SA portal; payment via PayFast.
• Pricing Schedule (from Pricing erratum): includes Fluid Change, Coolant System; Oil and coolant 20 liters.
• CUT reserves rights regarding award: not necessarily the lowest bid; may award to empowerment company or via a joint venture; BBBEE considerations apply.
