Overview

Appointment of service provider for the provision of cleaning services at all EHC complexes for a period of thirty-six (36) months on an as and when required basis. Requirements

• Four-stage evaluation: Stage 1 Mandatory Disqualifying Compliance; Stage 2 Administrative Compulsory Documents; Stage 3 Functionality; Stage 4 Price and Specific Goals.
• Minimum 80 points required to advance to Stage 4.
• Specific goals (total 20 points) and evidence:
  • a) At least 51% female-owned — 3 points (ID, BBEE certificate, Company Share/Directorship)
  • b) At least 50% youth-owned — 4 points (ID, BBEE certificate, Company Share/Directorship)
  • c) At least 50% owned by People Living with Disabilities — 2 points (ID, Medical Certificate with practitioner details)
  • d) Historically disadvantaged individuals — 3 points (ID, BBEE certificate, Company Share/Directorship)
  • e) Located within Ekurhuleni demarcation — 8 points (Municipal account/ lease or affidavit; municipal account <3 months)
• Proposals subject to Standard Conditions of Tender and SCM Policy; rights to part/full award; due diligence allowed; negotiation with shortlisted bidders.
