Overview

Appointment of a service provider for the implementation and maintenance of a GIS-enabled water and sanitation infrastructure asset management system for a period of three years. Polokwane Municipality invites bids from ICT/GIS/asset-management providers with relevant experience to implement and maintain the system. Bidders must be duly registered and compliant with municipal SCM policies; no bid from persons in the service of the state will be considered. Requirements

• CSD number and tax compliance (including SARS PIN/TCS) and VAT where applicable; separate TCS/PIN for joint ventures/sub-contractors; provide or include TCS certificate if available.
• Bidders must be registered, compliant with municipal SCM policies, and not in the service of the state.
• Experience with similar GIS/asset-management projects; demonstrated track record of comparable scope.
• Complete and sign all bid forms (official forms F), submit in sealed envelope; no email/fax submissions accepted; bids deposited in the Polokwane bid box.
• Compliance with PPPFA/PP Regulations, GCC, and any special conditions; 90-day bid validity.
• If applicable, JV/consortium arrangements require each party to meet registration/qualification requirements.

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 14 September 2026 at 10:00. Bids deposited in the Polokwane bid box (Civic Centre, corner Bodeneinstein/Landdros Mare) before 10:00; bids opened publicly.
• Submission method: In-person bid box drop; sealed envelope clearly indicating bid number and description; no online/email submissions (per bid documents).
• Documents to submit: Official bid forms (Forms A–F), MBD 3.1 Schedule of Prices, MBD 6.1, and other annexures; pricing documents must be fully priced and signed. Download bid documents from etenders.gov.za (no fee).
• Pre-qualifications/registrations: Tax compliance status (PIN/TCS) or printed TCS certificate; CSD number; proof of municipal rates/taxes or lease where applicable.
