Overview

RFQ AB 17/2026 seeks a service provider to supply and install aluminium shopfronts at South Cape TVET College, George Campus. Bidders should be qualified for aluminium shopfront installation and glazing, with CIDB SG class and CIDB grading 1GB or higher, and able to satisfy SAGGA/SANS 10400-N standards, DoL building services registration, and related safety, tax, and BBBEE requirements.

Requirements

• CIDB grading: proof of 1GB or higher; CIDB SG class compulsory.
• Compliance with SAGGA and SANS 10400-N for glass and glazing work; competent handling of glass installation.
• Health and safety compliance, hazard identification, environmental management, and safe working practices.
• Registration with the Department of Labour for building services.
• Tax/compliance: SARS PIN/TCS for tax status; if no TCS, provide CSD number; ensure tax clearance.
• COIDA certificate for building construction (Class V); proof of CIDB grading; 1–2 reference letters with letterhead, value and scope.
• BBBEE: valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; supplier must submit supporting documentation.
• Documentation: complete SBD forms (SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, SBD 8, SBD 9) and a priced, detailed Price Schedule; references as required.
• Warranty: 12-month warranty on goods, with remedies as specified; and delivery/installation timing as per contract.
• Site briefing on George Campus (compulsory).
