Overview

Appointment of a service provider to supply 24/7 security services at Buffalo City Metro Health District facilities, Eastern Cape Department of Health, for 36 months. Bidders should be PSIRA-registered security providers with NBCPSS and related compliance (COIDA, CSD, tax) and the capacity to cover three clusters (East London, Mdantsane, King Williams Town) with Grade C guards and appropriate supervision.

Requirements

• PSIRA registration for company and directors (new certificates, <=90 days) and NBCPSS registration with good standing.
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN and/or CSD registration; proof of CSD or Tax Compliance status.
• PSSPF registration or exemption, and COIDA certificate with good standing.
• Proof of health/life insurance requirements and Public Liability cover (policy not older than 12 months).
• Compliance with NBCPSS pricing rates; pricing inclusive of VAT; transparency on pricing basis.
• Availability of 100% specified uniforms and equipment; local Eastern Cape uniform sourcing encouraged.
• Detailed functionality evidence: project references, payroll schedule, staff database, PAYE registration, and Methodology for security and electronic security integration.
• Valid bid- validity 120 days; mandatory briefing attendance; potential in loco verification.
