Appointment of Service Provider(s) into a Framework Agreement to deploy security guards on an “as and when” required basis for a period of three years in Limpopo province (excluding Burgersfort). Target bidders are security service providers with PSIRA registration and the ability to supply armed/unarmed guarding, escort, and related security services; compliance with PSIRA, BBBEE, insurance, tax, and local presence in Limpopo is required.

Requirements

• Mandatory eligibility:
  • Valid PSIRA registration for the company and for directors.
  • PSIRA letter of good standing.
  • NBCPSS affiliation (or valid exemption).
  • PSSPF certificate or exemption.
  • Public liability insurance (minimum R10,000,000).
  • COIDA/CF/FEM/RMA compliant worker compensation status.
  • UIF compliance (EMP201).
  • Proof of presence in the Limpopo area (PSIRA satellite office certificate or equivalent).
  • Tax compliance: SARS PIN or CSD number (tax clearance where applicable).
• Functional criteria (minimum 55 points of 75):
  • Armed Guarding capability (reference letters) – up to 15 points.
  • Unarmed Guarding capability – up to 15 points.
  • Escort Services – up to 15 points.
  • Company 9mm firearms licences – up to 15 points.
  • Company shotgun licences – up to 15 points.
• Risk assessment may affect award; site visits possible.
• BBBEE considerations and compliance with local content rules where applicable.

How to Apply

• Briefing: compulsory session on Microsoft Teams, 21 August 2026 at 10:00; request access by emailing tendera@sentech.co.za by 20 August 2026 (.attach Teams app); questions to be consolidated and shared at least 7 days before closing (see Tender Pack).
• Submission deadline: 4 September 2026, 12:00. Late submissions are not accepted.
• Submission method: two-envelope system (Envelope One – Technical Proposal; Envelope Two – Financial Proposal); hard copy to Sentech Radiokop or via the eTender Portal (size limit 30MB). Do not mix technical and financial content in Envelope One.
• Documents to submit:
  • Complete list of returnable documents (SBD1, SBD4, SBD5, SBD6.1, board/joint-venture resolutions, etc.) and signed Tender Data; include PSIRA, NBCPSS, PSSPF, COIDA/DOEL, UIF, tax clearances, CSD/PIN, and Limpopo presence evidence.
  • For Envelope One: Technical Proposal with all returnable documents; minimum page checks and initialing as required.
  • For Envelope Two: Financial Proposal (pricing schedule) with a separate copy; do not include financials in Envelope One.
  • All documentation must be completed on Sentech-provided forms (no retyping critical forms) and initialled on all pages.
